Today, as I type this, Donald Trump is giving a speech about various things relating to the events that led to the death of George Floyd and also led to most US Cities getting trashed by protestors which is what some people call “riots”. Where does this come from? Why do we insist on destroying property in the name of justice? What is the psychology of riots?
Honestly, I may not have that answer, but today Matty B and I lay down a sick pod as usual to discuss the situation. Please bear in mind, we care for the families lost while being in between both sides. I cannot stress enough how important it is to look beyond the media and news outlets provided to you and seek out truth on your own accord. And The Free Democracy Was Born
Americans constantly take for granted the amount of effort our founding fathers put in in order to free us from the chains of Europe and the Queen. (long live the queen tho, I don’t want any trouble). It’s important to remember these facts…but also, it’s important to remember the other side while all of this was going on. Black people were still considered slaves and there was no one advocating for these humans. Yes, humans. Since the beginning of time sin has filled the human race and we call it the Human Condition. We are faulty at birth and have to over come evil to become good. This will always be the problem. Apparently this isn’t about that
Flash Forward
The world seems to be a mess and people once again, just like in 1999, say the world is ending. So today think about the inherent faults of humans and how you solve it. Or “if” you solve it. Solving the human mind or the psychology of riots may not be the only thing to worry about. Because, although it seems like racism and inequality is the only problem big enough to worry about right now, it’s not. Once conquered (if at all) there will be a new problem to tackle. Be it lying, cheating or stealing. The podcast might be unbiased, but this is where my thoughts get put into words. Right here on toastypodcast.com. I am open to all walks of life and all professions. I want to learn as much as possible from all sides and in order to that I have to be accepting. So I am accepting.
