NBA and China, Texas Forever, TikTok and More | Toasty 76 w/ Matty B
We don’t always talk about products on our show because that isn’t the point for us, but when I love something, I talk about it. EveryPlate is just another meal delivery service but it’s the most affordable one and it’s actually super good quality. You cook it yourself, but the portioned are accurate. If you don’t like meal planning and shopping for all sorts of ingredients you’ll only use once, this is your answer. If you want $20 off just for listening to The Toasty Podcast, click here

It’s no secret China is scaring people. What seems to be more apparent, though, is the lack of knowledge about how the CCP operates. The fact is, you won’t know what’s really going on in China even if news outlets pretend to know. That’s how it’s designed. Recently, in the middle of a Celtics game that was being aired in China (they love NBA…for some reason), CCP cut the live feed. I’m not sure what they changed it to, but they didn’t want to watch basketball anymore and it needed to change right then and there!
They did this as retaliation to an NBA player speaking out against NBA’s involvement with China and Nike’s involvement with it as well. This player is mentioned in the podcast and is a hero among greedy, selfish executives that run Nike and NBA. These are only a few of the organizations that participate in China’s slave-labor out of dozens.
